The highly anticipated Proball West Africa Has Talent U20 Tournament officially kicks off tomorrow, 2nd December, and runs through to the 4th at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium. Widely regarded as one of the top youth scouting events in the region, the tournament is set to bring together exceptional young talents from San Pedro FC (Côte d’Ivoire), Academy Potey Keahson (Côte d’Ivoire), Gnilim Foot (Togo),P Sports (Nigeria), Football Players Academy (Mali), and from Ghana, Inter Allies FC , Cedar Stars Academy, Liberty Professionals Academy, Semper FI FC, Medeama FC, Berekum Chelsea and Villarreal Africa.
This year’s edition promises an exciting display of skill and potential, with players set to compete in front of some of Europe’s most admired clubs, including Hammarby Fotboll (Sweden), K.R.C. Genk (Belgium), BK Häcken (Sweden), FC Copenhagen (Denmark), Górnik Zabrze (Poland), Sturm Graz (Austria) and Samsunspor (Turkey).
Adding to the prestige, renowned scouts from Germany, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Norway, and Belgium will be in attendance, continuing the tournament’s reputation as a gateway for West African prospects to global football pathways.
Held bi-annually, the event brings together top academies and youth sides, offering emerging players a rare and valuable opportunity to compete at a high level and attract international interest.
This year’s tournament is proudly organized by Proball Management, Global Soccer Management (Scandinavian partner), and Global One Group (German partner)—three Football agencies committed to nurturing the next generation of African football talent.
