Patrick Kpozo shines in Europa League opener with Sheriff Tiraspol:


Ghanaian international leftback Patrick Kpozo was on top of his game and scored high marks for Sheriff Tiraspol in this year’s Europa League opener.


The strong Moldovan champions travelled away to beat Omonia Nicosia 3-0 at the Neo GSP in Nicosia (Levkosia), Cyprus on Thursday evening.

Having played through the Qualifiers, Kpozo was the best choiced player for the left back position and once again was handed a starting role.


He had a rating of 8.4 from FotMob after playing 89 minutes with 100% dribbles. His cross from the left was handled in the box and were awarded penalty that led to their 2nd goal.
